Grids are fundamental in editorial design, and they are something that I am slowly getting to grips with. I researched various ways of using grids within magazine layout design and I decided to use my own customised grid that was easy to construct and simple to use when it came to placing my content.
Here is the grid system that I have used throughout my double page spread layout designs. Its simplistic but effective and replicated layouts from the premium magazines that I researched at the start of this project.
