OUGD505 - Brief 02 - Large Global Issues

The world’s biggest problems according to the UN:

POVERTY – LACK OF ACCESS TO WORK
ECONOMIC EQUALITY UNDERPINNED BY RACE, CULTURE, RELIGIOUS FACTORS
HUNGER – LACK OF ACCESS TO A SUSTAINABLE FOOD SOURCE
LACK OF ACCESS TO WATER OR SANITATION
LACK OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

RAPID GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL DECLINE

The UN have devised a set of 17 'goals' to try and tackle some of the largest problems facing humanity across the globe. Some of these issues are things that I am very much concerned about and could look into researching further for this brief. I do have quite an extensive knowledge of a lot of these issues, as I examined them whilst studying A-Level Geography. Below is a nice info-graphic demonstrating the goals that the UN have set:
