I discovered an extremely useful website/blog called FontsInUse.com a while back and it has definitely helped me in terms of visual research and inspiration for this brief. You simply type in any key term that springs to mind and the website throws up images that contain typography associated with the search phrase. As I am basing my typographic design around the 1970's and badges from that era, I decided to search for '1970's' type. Some really vibrant, eye catching results turned up which aided me in making informed type decisions.
