In my self defined brief, I clearly specified that the branding needed to feel fresh, contemporary but also clearly representational of the core values and ethics that the Junk-Food Project hold dearly. I took to the internet to find inspiration from contemporary branding/identity projects for small independent cafes, pop up's and restaurants. I found some really lovely projects that use considered sans serif typefaces, beautiful hand crafted illustrations and lovely use of line, shape and colour.
I was paying particular attention to the logo designs and how these had been applied across a range of products and collateral.
